About Lila
My fascination with architecture began with observing how built spaces influence human experiences and communities. This curiosity led me to pursue a B.Arch, followed by an M.Arch in Sustainable Urban Design, where I explored the intersection of aesthetics, function, and environmental responsibility. Over the past 11 years, I have taught students of varying levels, from beginners discovering their first concepts of design to advanced learners preparing portfolios for universities and competitions, guiding them with patience and structured support.
I focus on a teaching style that combines creativity, technical guidance, and mentorship. Lessons are tailored to each student’s level and interests, blending practical exercises, conceptual discussions, model-building, and digital design tools. I encourage experimentation, reflective thinking, and iterative learning, ensuring that students not only acquire skills but also develop their own creative voice and design philosophy.
Outside teaching, I continue exploring architecture through research on sustainable design, urban planning studies, and conceptual project development. This engagement allows me to bring current industry insights into the classroom. Watching students progress from uncertainty to expressing complex ideas with clarity and confidence is immensely rewarding. My aim is to support learners in becoming thoughtful, skilled, and innovative architects capable of tackling real-world design challenges with creativity and precision.

Architecture lessons are designed to help learners develop a deep understanding of form, function, and aesthetic design principles, while fostering creative thinking and problem-solving skills. Beginners start with the fundamentals of design, including proportion, scale, and basic spatial planning, learning to express their ideas visually through simple sketches and exercises. Intermediate learners explore advanced composition, material selection, construction techniques, and environmental considerations, developing stronger analytical and practical skills. Advanced learners focus on portfolio development, advanced modelling, project management, and conceptual refinement, preparing them for professional practice, academic competitions, or higher education in architecture. Lessons are carefully structured to provide a balance of technical knowledge, creative inspiration, and reflective thinking, ensuring steady growth.
Studying architecture develops critical thinking, observation, and problem-solving abilities, while encouraging students to express ideas visually and conceptually. Learners gain the confidence to approach design challenges independently, creatively, and methodically. My goal is to cultivate both technical competence and imaginative capacity, helping students become thoughtful, innovative designers capable of addressing real-world architectural challenges.
