About Vincent
I have 8 years of experience teaching architecture and hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture. My expertise lies in combining practical design skills with conceptual thinking to help students become confident, innovative designers. I focus on supporting learners at all levels, providing guidance in sketching, spatial analysis, model building, and design refinement.
I work closely with each student, adapting lessons to their learning pace and goals. My approach emphasizes creativity, critical analysis, iterative exploration, and constructive feedback. I encourage students to take ownership of their designs while developing both technical skill and creative expression.
Teaching architecture is deeply fulfilling because I witness students transform from tentative beginners into confident, innovative designers. My architecture lessons are designed to help students understand the principles of designing functional, creative, and aesthetically compelling spaces. I cover design thinking, spatial reasoning, sustainable architecture, visual communication, and project development. Lessons include interactive sketching exercises, model-making activities, digital visualization, and critical discussion. Students learn to connect conceptual ideas with practical implementation while developing confidence in expressing their creative vision. Each session encourages exploration, iterative design, and conceptual clarity.
I structure lessons according to each student’s experience and skill level. Beginners focus on fundamental design principles, proportional drawing, and basic sketching techniques with step-by-step guidance. Intermediate learners study advanced spatial design, functional planning, sustainable materials, and portfolio development. Advanced learners engage in full-scale projects, design refinement, professional presentations, and integrating sustainability with aesthetic and functional goals. Every class incorporates exercises, guided critique, and feedback to strengthen understanding, improve skill, and encourage creative independence.
The main objective of my teaching is to help students develop both creative and analytical thinking, empowering them to approach design challenges thoughtfully and confidently. Students gain skills in visualizing spaces, solving spatial problems, and effectively communicating ideas. My lessons also foster an appreciation for sustainability, functional design, and innovative solutions. By combining structured guidance with creative exploration, learners not only improve technically but also build a personal design philosophy, preparing them for academic excellence, professional success, and lifelong engagement with architecture.
