About Ian
I enjoy helping students understand not only what to design, but how architects think. My teaching focuses on developing creativity, technical skills and confidence through practical exercises and constructive feedback.
Whether you are preparing a portfolio for architecture school, working on a university design project, learning SketchUp or AutoCAD, or improving your architectural drawing skills, I will tailor lessons to your individual goals and learning style.
I believe architecture is about solving real problems through thoughtful design and I aim to make every lesson engaging, challenging and enjoyable. My goal is to help students build the skills and confidence needed to succeed in their studies and future careers.
