About Eira
I have 7 years of experience teaching architecture to students preparing for higher education, design competitions, and professional portfolios. I earned a B.Arch in Environmental Design, equipping me with strong skills in sustainable planning, spatial reasoning, and visual communication. This foundation allows me to guide students in developing creativity alongside technical expertise.
My teaching style is supportive, structured, and flexible. I focus on helping learners explore ideas while maintaining clarity, precision, and effective communication in design. I encourage students to think critically, experiment creatively, and develop confidence in their architectural voice.
Outside teaching, I stay engaged with architecture through design projects, urban planning research, and sustainability studies. Watching students grow from uncertainty to confident designers is immensely rewarding. Supporting their creative and intellectual development remains one of the most fulfilling aspects of my work.

Architecture comes alive when learners understand how design shapes human experience and reflects cultural, environmental, and functional considerations. My lessons guide students through conceptual thinking, drafting, material selection, and visualisation techniques with clear, supportive explanations. I encourage learners to explore ideas freely while learning to structure designs effectively. Every session emphasises practical application, critical evaluation, and thoughtful creativity, allowing students to develop both imaginative and analytical skills.
Lesson content is tailored to the learner’s stage. Beginners focus on sketching basics, proportions, and introductory spatial planning. Intermediate students refine model-making, digital drafting, material analysis, and project presentation. Advanced learners develop portfolios, explore advanced design strategies, and incorporate sustainable architecture principles. Feedback, review exercises, and discussion are integrated into every lesson to foster confidence and progress.
Architecture lessons enhance creative thinking, problem-solving, and visual communication. Over time, students develop the ability to express ideas clearly, analyse space critically, and approach design projects with independence and originality. My goal is to cultivate confident, thoughtful, and imaginative designers capable of translating ideas into meaningful structures.
