About Wes
I earned a B.Arch and an M.Arch in Urban Planning, which provided me with a deep understanding of design principles, spatial reasoning, and sustainable architecture. Over 7 years of teaching, I have supported students in developing creativity, technical expertise, and a confident design identity. My approach combines structured guidance, interactive projects, and constructive feedback to foster both skill and imagination. I adapt lessons to each student’s strengths and goals, using exercises, model-making, and real-world examples to enhance conceptual understanding. Encouraging exploration, iteration, and independent thinking helps learners grow steadily and develop self-confidence in their design abilities. Beyond teaching, I engage in professional design research, urban planning studies, and sustainability projects, which enrich my lessons with contemporary perspectives.
