About Rory
I am a fully-qualified architect (ARB/RIBA) and designer with over 8 years' experience working for internationally renowned studios including Zaha Hadid Architects, Morphosis and Ron Arad.
Having studied Architecture at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels at the Bartlett School of Architecture, UCL, I understand the high standards required to excel at an elite institution.
I am passionate about craft, design and the ideation process and am keen to help others reach their full creative potential.
Beyond tutoring, I have worked with Monday.com's Tech School Foundation as an AI Design Mentor, and have been a guest design critic at various universities including the Bartlett School of Architecture, UCL and Architectural Association, London.
I currently balance teaching with my own design practice which specialises in digital design for manufacture.

I challenge students to develop a sense of agency within their work, helping them to hone creative and problem-solving skills essential for university courses in the fields of Architecture and Design.
Lessons last 1hr and are structured to ensure students have time to share their progress, gain my feedback, and set homework tasks together. I cater to students ranging from pre-university application right the way through undergraduate to mature post-graduates.
I have over 4 years of 1-to-1 mentoring experience with students from a diverse range of cultural and educational backgrounds.
