About Shira
A versatile creative and performer with an infectious, excitable energy, bursting with ideas for innovative approaches to performance. I am passionate about music and theatre, and thrive on nurturing performers' potential and tailoring my process to suit the needs of individuals and groups.
I am a multitalented singer with experience performing and teaching in different genres such as Jazz, Rock, Opera, Musical Theatre and Pop. I have always had a strong affinity towards the arts, due to being born into a family of music teachers. In all aspects of my life, both personal and professional, I have focused on art, drama and music.
As a result of classical music training I am able to give all my students the foundations they need for healthy vocal practices. Proper use of Diaphragm and breath control is essential to any successful career in singing. This is emphasised in every lesson along side sight-reading, projection, improvisation, rhythm and other vital musical techniques. I am a dedicated educator who cares for the wellbeing of all my students and enjoys working in an environment where students can develop through creative learning.
