About Sander
I am a Dutch (but English-speaking) Applied Physics student at the Eindhoven University of Technology, who is on a half-year sabbatical in Sydney from February 2019 till August 2019. Back in The Netherlands, I have done private tutoring for over two years now. Here, I have provided over 30 high school students of personal tutoring in mainly maths (geometry, algebra, statistics etc.), physics (mechanics, electromagnetism, thermodynamics etc.) and chemistry. Next to that, I helped these students with homework planning and exam preperation.

My teaching method can be described as personal, informal and enthousiastic. It therefore varies with every student, as I try to adapt the structure of my lessons to each individual. Some students might need some more explaining whereas other might benefit more of learning by doing. In a nutshell, my aim is to make subjects such as maths and physics fun/interesting, which (to my experience) often leads to a better understanding of the matters.
