About Akil
I’m a mathematics, statistics, and economics student at the University of Toronto with a strong academic background and a career in applied & academic research! I'm continuing with graduate studies while working full-time.
My aim has always been to elevate my students such that they are prepared for the rigor of undergraduate-level courses in math, engineering, and/or computer science.

My goal is not just to help my students really understand how it is that they should solve problems, and how they can use math (and its related branches) in their careers!
A typical lesson starts with a quick review of key concepts, followed by guided examples where we work through some challenging problems together. Importantly, a big focus of our sessions on exam strategies and college/graduate school preparatory material.
