About Thomas
I am a second-year computing student at ANU studying theoretical computer science and maths. I plan to major in AI/Machine Learning and minor in maths. I play basketball, go to the gym, and am a member of the debating and board games societies. I am also employed by ANU as a academic tutor for two first year computer science courses.

My teaching methodology focuses on a personalised and interactive approach, ensuring lessons are tailored to each student's needs and goals. I prioritise building a strong understanding of core concepts followed by exploring complex applications and real-world examples to enhance learning. Sessions typically last 1 to 1.5 hours, structured to include a recap of previous lessons, in-depth exploration of new material, and time for questions and planning. I bring extensive volunteer experience tutoring maths and IT subjects from my school years, where I developed a knack for breaking down complex topics and explaining them in clear, intuitive ways.
