About Victoria
I am a PhD student in the field of anthropology/archaeology with a focus on (East Asian) prehistory. I have mentored and tutored students within my field. Providing help with writing, presenting and creating conference posters is also something I enjoy doing. Learning how to navigate academia can be a challenge. Especially if you are an ESL student. This is something I fully understand as I am an international student myself. I speak fluent English and Dutch.

My teaching methods are based on what fits the student best. Some respond well to direct instruction, whereas other respond better to cooperative learning. Overall, I find that the most effective ways to teach a subject are through visualization, exercises, and testing. The latter will also depend on how comfortable the student feels.
