About Angela
I'm a final-year medical student at Imperial College London with an intercalated degree in Global Health Research.
I bring over 5 years of tutoring experience, having supported school students in Maths, Chemistry, English and Science.
Beyond one-on-one tutoring, I’ve also worked as a fitness coach and have volunteered to successfully organise pre-clinical and clinical revision courses, as well as exam support tutorials for Years 1 to 3 of medical school—benefiting more than 200 students. These experiences have taught me which teaching and revision techniques are most effective, and I'm grateful to have consistently received positive feedback.
As both an athlete and an international student who is studying in a second language, I truly understand the challenges of balancing learning a new language with personal goals, and well-being.

I teach Spanish to students at all levels, from complete beginners to advanced. My approach focuses on making learning engaging and sustainable, so you can easily remember and apply the concepts we do during the classes.
Here's what I do:
- Active learning: I use platforms like Mentimeter and Kahoot to keep lessons interactive and fun (so you are not just listening)
- Consolidation: We review previous lessons regularly + I assign optional homework that actually reinforces what we've learnt
- Personalised: I have experience teaching students with different learning styles, including those with special learning requirements.
I have two qualifications in teaching skills from Imperial, as well as 5+ years of experience tutoring other students, including Spanish.
