About Akshaya
As an honors high school senior with recent experience in AP and honors courses, I understand exactly what students are currently learning and where they tend to struggle. I work closely with students at their pace and adjust lessons based on their strengths, challenges, and goals. I’m also very flexible with scheduling to accommodate busy school and extracurricular commitments.
Because I have very recent experience in these exact classes, I know the expectations, common mistakes, and the most effective study strategies. Students often find it easier to learn from someone who has just gone through the same material successfully. My combination of AP coursework, strong SAT performance, and patient teaching style allows me to give practical, relatable guidance.

My Teaching Method and Techniques:
I focus on breaking down difficult concepts and use practice problems from my own AP coursework and experience. For English and SAT prep, I share the strategies that helped me earn a 770 on the SAT Reading/Writing section and qualify as a National Merit Scholar. For math and science, I help students build strong foundations that prepare them for both class success and AP exams.
I work with:

- High school students in honors or AP math and science courses
- Students preparing for AP exams in math, science, and English
- Students preparing for the SAT Reading/Writing section
