About Fiza
I am passionate about tutoring because I know first-hand how challenging English can feel. I was never someone who found the subject “naturally easy,” but through learning how to analyse exam structures, break down mark schemes, and refine my technique, I was able to achieve the highest grades. This experience means I understand the struggles students face and can quickly identify where they may be losing marks. I want to show my students that progress does not come from being naturally gifted, but from having the right tools and strategies. Having been in their position, I can guide them with patience, practical methods, and the encouragement they need to help them reach their full potential.

I offer 1-2 hour sessions to support GCSE and A Level English students struggling to master the skills they need to achieve top grades. I assess each student's needs individually, first analysing exactly where they are struggling, then use a step-by-step process to improve their skills whether that’s exam preparation, essay writing, or building confidence in analysis and critical thinking. I use clear explanations, guided practice, and exam-style questions to ensure progress. As a student with strong academic experience and a passion for English Literature and Language, I understand the challenges learners face and break topics down into manageable steps to deepen their understanding.
