About Fincent
I have been fascinated with languages for as long as I remember. I had always been an inquisitive child, trying to find out as much as I could about the world around me, and most conversations with me would be about me dispelling new facts or information to others. As I grew older, I realised that teaching would be an excellent way for me to continue being this inquisitive and to transfer knowledge and skills to others. I completed a Bachelor's degree in Ancient and Modern Languages (2022-2024), an Honours Degree in English Language and Literature (2025), and I am currently completing a PGCE (2026-2027). I can assure you that I will have the ability to assist you with any language-related query or challenge.

My lessons provide all the required details needed for students to improve their linguistic skills and repertoire, and are tailored to their needs and preferences which they are allowed to disclose before the lesson(s). I can easily integrate modern technology and interactivity in my lessons to make them engaging. I can teach English, French, German, Latin, ancient Greek, and have some background in Italian and Spanish. Dutch is my mother tongue, and I can also speak Afrikaans fluently. I can offer contrastive analysis when it comes to Germanic and Romance languages, which not many teachers are able to do.
