About Shenel
Having just completed my GCSEs in 2021, I am very familiar with the specifications and have an abundance of resources to share in my lessons. I thoroughly enjoy sciences, biology in particular, and am keen to help other GCSE biology students navigate this course, by catering my methods of teaching to suit their individual learning styles.

My lessons will consist of going through theory for a certain topic, providing examples and detailed explanations according to the specification points. I will then provide past paper questions, so that students can get a feel for the style of questions they will likely encounter, and become familiar with proper exam technique. Moreover, I have a multitude of revision strategies to share, that I have found most effective during my three years, studying for GCSEs, and this will help students with their own independent revision outside of lessons. I also have a younger brother in year 10 who I help with homework and test preparation, and I do peer mentoring at my school which have all been opportunities for me to improve my style of teaching and see what works best when explaining content.
I typically offer 1 hour lessons, but I can occasionally do longer upon request.
My lessons are for secondary school students doing GCSE Biology (combined or triple).
