About Yahya Ali
Swept straight A*s in CAIE A-Levels across Maths, Physics, and Chem, and grabbed the Highest Achiever Award across the DHA college network two years back-to-back. Outside of STEM, I compete in British Parliamentary debate, finishing runner-up at SZABIST. I don’t run passive yapping sessions, read off slides, or waste your time with basic notes you can find online in five seconds. We hop on a live interactive whiteboard, dismantle the underlying logic behind tough questions, and drill past papers until the mark scheme feels second nature.
I teach because watching someone actually get good gives me an unmatched dopamine hit. Nothing beats taking someone who feels cooked by physics or convinced they're just bad at calculus, breaking down the mechanics until the light switch flips, and watching them tear through problems they used to dread. Seeing you level up and locking in those results genuinely makes me proud and paid, xd.

I use a guided, Socratic style (IFYKYK) — asking targeted questions that lead students to uncover the core principles themselves. We break down past paper questions from first principles, dissect mark schemes, and apply evidence-based revision techniques (spaced repetition and active recall) so concepts stick permanently. All sessions run on an interactive digital whiteboard with full notes shared afterwards. I believe once you engage with the material it is most rewarding, thus Socratic style.
