About Tristan
Growing up I always wanted to be a teacher. I loved being able to help my classmates and younger siblings with their school work as well. After 4 years of University I obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree before heading into my Bachelor of Education After Degree which was an additional 2 years. After I finished post secondary I moved back to a small town in Alberta and taught several Math & Science courses throughout Grades 9-12. I am currently on a Maternity Leave after having my first born Daughter earlier in 2023 and really miss the classroom which is why I would love to take some time to help students online during my leave.

If you are looking for additional assistance in mastering math concepts this school year I would love to help you. Being a visual learner has led me to color coding the math work and finding alternative ways of explaining/ demonstrating the mathematical processes. What I love about math is that there is typically several ways of approaching a problem and back checking your work so you know you got it!
