About Zion
With 8 years of teaching experience, I have successfully guided over 150 students across all levels. My lessons combine technical skill development with creativity and expression.
I focus on breath control, tone, finger agility, and rhythm, while also encouraging improvisation and personal interpretation of music. I adapt every lesson to suit each student’s pace, learning style, and goals, making learning both effective and fun.
I also provide guidance in sight-reading, music theory, and performance preparation, helping students grow into confident and skilled musicians.

My flute teaching methodology is designed to provide a flexible, student-centred, and encouraging learning experience. I begin by understanding each student’s unique learning style and adapting lessons to match their strengths, pace, and interests. This ensures lessons are productive, engaging, and enjoyable.
Flexibility allows me to adjust exercises, repertoire, and practice routines according to the student’s goals and progress. Collaboration is emphasised through duets, ensemble activities, and interactive exercises that build confidence, musical communication, and expressive skill. Positivity guides every lesson, creating a supportive environment where students feel inspired to experiment, embrace challenges, and celebrate achievements.
Alongside flute instruction, I incorporate music theory, sight-reading, rhythm exercises, and ear training. This comprehensive methodology balances technical development with creative expression, helping students develop into confident, skilled, and passionate musicians.
