About Zemia
I have taught a variety of courses in English, Film, and History. After graduating from Pomona College with a Bachelor of Arts in Africana Studies, I worked as a development assistant before transitioning to freelance writing and directing. Today, I am a Teaching Artist and Educator, yoga instructor, and continue to freelance as an artist. My ethos is one based in compassion and radical love, and these philosophies influence my pedagogy, allowing me to create spaces that foster one’s academic and personal growth.
