About Marjan
I’m a Year 12 student who achieved straight 9s at GCSE, including Edexcel GCSE Maths and AQA GCSE Further Maths. I know how important having the right tutor is — someone who can explain concepts clearly, build confidence, and inspire genuine understanding rather than rote learning. In my lessons, I start by asking which topics you’re struggling with or want to improve, and I’ll break them down clearly using step-by-step methods. We’ll go over exam-style questions together, and I’ll show you how to approach them with the right techniques and confidence. I use a mix of guided practice and quick-fire recall to keep things engaging, and I’ll always make sure you understand the why, not just the how. I also share revision tips that helped me go from being stuck at an 8 to achieving a 9 in my mocks. Since I have just sat my GCSEs and predicted top grades, I understand exactly what exam boards are looking for and how to tackle tricky questions in a way that makes sense. I aim to make every lesson feel comfortable and encouraging, so you’re not afraid to make mistakes and ask questions — that’s how real progress happens.
