About Aidah
I am keen to tutor over the summer as I have very recently completed my GCSEs and understand the importance of maintaining academic progress during this period. I am a patient, responsible, and approachable individual who takes a supportive and structured approach to teaching. Having achieved a Grade 8 in English Literature and a Grade 8 in Urdu in Year 10, I am well placed to support a wide range of students, including those who may struggle with spoken or written English. My aim is to build students’ confidence, address individual weaknesses, and help them develop strong study habits in a calm and encouraging learning environment. My strongest subjects are bio and chem and English so I would love to help your child in them. Along with those I did RS, geo, history, and photography thus I don't mind helping the student with them too as long as the exam board is the same.

I am a recent GCSE student who completed my examinations one week ago, with strong predicted grades and a Grade 8 in English Literature achieved in Year 10. Having very recently experienced the GCSE curriculum and assessment process, I have a clear and up-to-date understanding of exam requirements, mark schemes, and effective revision techniques. I offer a personalised and supportive tutoring approach, identifying each student’s strengths and areas for development in order to tailor lessons to their individual academic needs. This allows me to provide focused academic support, practical exam guidance, and confidence-building strategies. I also maintain clear communication with parents and offer my services at affordable hourly rates compared to tutoring centres, while delivering high standard education. My teaching approach is centred on active learning and clear explanation, ensuring students are fully engaged and confident in their understanding rather than relying on memorisation alone. Lessons are interactive and adapted to each student’s learning style, using questioning, discussion, and exam-style practice to reinforce key concepts. I create concise, easy-to-understand notes and revision resources that break down complex topics into manageable steps, making them accessible and effective for GCSE students. These personalised resources allow students to revise independently between sessions, strengthen weaker areas, and steadily build exam confidence.
