About James
I am an Aerospace Engineering currently studying at the University of Nottingham. I have always been passionate about Maths and wish to broader my students' knowledge, hopefully spreading my passion for the subject to those i teach. I am new to tutoring but believe that I have a lot to offer - I took Maths at GCSE and A-Level achieving an A* and A respectively, as well as currently studying a maths based degree so I do feel like this has given me a great foundation in which to start tutoring students.

I would like to teach GCSE Maths and A-Level Maths students.
The method of teaching that I use is quite interactive and relatively relaxed, I want to create an environment where students learn efficiently and proactively and feel comfortable to ask questions.
I also believe that students learn best when attacking exam questions and applying the knowledge that they are taught, rather than just noting each topic. So many of my lessons will evolve around example exam questions, and applying knowledge rather than noting exercises; having said that I will not neglect the theory behind each topic, as for my teaching methods to be efficient a solid foundation has to be formed first.
