About Yug
I have 12 years of teaching experience and hold a PhD in Piano Pedagogy. My academic research focused on structured learning systems, performance psychology, and technical skill development for keyboard training. This strong educational background allows me to design effective and organized lessons for learners at all levels.
Throughout my career, I have guided beginners building foundational skills and advanced students preparing for recitals and evaluations. I believe that structured repetition, detailed feedback, and positive encouragement are essential for long-term musical success. My teaching style is disciplined, supportive, and focused on measurable progress.

My piano lessons are carefully organized to develop strong finger control, balanced hand coordination, rhythmic precision, and expressive musical understanding. At the start of instruction, I evaluate posture alignment, bench positioning, wrist flexibility, and reading accuracy. Proper technique is essential because it supports clear sound production and prevents unnecessary tension. We begin with structured warm-up exercises, five-finger patterns, and scale practice to strengthen finger independence and tempo consistency. I clearly explain how touch sensitivity, dynamic control, and articulation influence musical expression.
As students progress, we expand into chord progressions, arpeggio refinement, sight-reading development, and interpretive phrasing analysis. Each concept is introduced gradually to maintain clarity and confidence. Repertoire selection is tailored to the student’s level and goals. We focus on articulation accuracy, dynamic contrast, expressive shaping, and performance discipline. I provide detailed corrections and structured repetition to reinforce technical and musical improvement.
For advanced learners, I include recital preparation, memory development techniques, and performance psychology training. Students gradually gain stronger coordination, refined tonal control, improved reading fluency, and confident stage presence. My goal is to help students combine disciplined technique with artistic maturity.
