About Jade
Do you desire to play with true artistic clarity? I teach because I value the lineage of Peabody pedagogy. After 13 years in the studio, I focus on the connection between inner hearing and physical execution.
My students build mastery through precise work on chord voicing and hand position. Technique stems from deep listening.
I balance rigorous RCM exam preparation with the freedom to explore jazz and pop arrangements. 23 recent distinctions at Grade 8 and above demonstrate the strength of this methodical path. I am a firm believer in the power of the ears to lead the hands.

Stiff posture creates unnecessary physical tension. Developing inner hearing transforms how you interact with the keys.
Sessions last 60 minutes to ensure adequate time for detailed technical feedback and musical expression. We drill the fundamentals of audiation as the primary gateway to musical fluency.
Students focus on dynamic control while polishing repertoire that excites them. My approach integrates Czerny with pieces that reflect your personal taste. 6 years of specific research into jazz improvisation influence how I teach accompaniment skills. You walk away with a refined ear and a clearer sense of structural phrasing.
