About Abigail
I am a college math professor and former high school math teacher. I have taught just about every high school and freshman math class, including algebra I and II, college algebra, statistics, trigonometry, pre-calculus, AP calculus, calculus for business, and more. I’ve spent much of my life with one passion: communication. Specifically, I am fascinated by the idea of simplifying complex concepts into simple, understandable words. It was this particular skill that got me excited about the idea of teaching math. I am eager and willing to find some new students!

My tutoring sessions are always centered on what the student in front of me needs to know. I start with learning their goals, their strengths, and then the areas they may need help with. The rest of the session, we walk through example problems, checking at each stage that the student is feeling comfortable and confident!
