About Joey
I am an actuarial science graduate with 4 years of experience in teaching maths. Actuarial science is not an easy nor straightforward degree as not only it involves extensive mathematics, it includes having a comprehensive understanding of the context and being able to apply my knowledge into the problem. Due to that, explaining things in a simple way has played a crucial part in my academic journey. I had gotten A+ in SPM maths and would like to share my success to my students :)
SPM maths may not be easy, but it is easier when the student has a clearer picture of the steps needed to be taken.

As a SPM math tutor, my approach involves:
- Providing clear explanations that are easy to understand by pairing with examples. Students understand faster through examples.
- Offering a variety of practice questions so that students master the topic fully.
- Finally, in order to consolidate student's knowledge, I will use past years' papers and look to obtain higher marks.
This includes finding the student's areas of improvement and designing personal guidance to turn them into their strengths.
