About Andrei
I am a passionate Guitar tutor with over 6 years of experience teaching college students. I believe guitar learning should be practical, enjoyable, and confidence-building. My aim is to help students feel comfortable with the instrument and enjoy creating music.
My teaching style is friendly and student-centred. I take time to understand each student’s goals, skill level, and musical interests. Based on this, I design lessons that are easy to follow and focused on steady improvement.
I use innovative teaching methods such as learning through real songs, structured practice routines, and technique-focused exercises. Students learn chords, strumming patterns, fingerstyle techniques, and rhythm by playing music they enjoy. I also use backing tracks to improve timing and performance confidence.
Music theory is explained in a simple and practical way so students can apply it directly on the guitar. I also encourage creativity through improvisation and basic songwriting to help students develop their own style.
I create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions. My goal is to help college students become confident guitar players who enjoy learning and practising.

My Guitar teaching methodology centres on creativity, critical thinking, mentorship, and accountability. I want students to enjoy music while building strong technical skills. Lessons focus on improvisation, composing, and exploring various styles, helping students find their personal sound.
Critical thinking is emphasised in every lesson. I teach students to analyse music, understand chord structures, and approach learning challenges strategically. This develops independence and musical intelligence.
Accountability ensures steady progress. I help students set goals, practise consistently, and reflect on achievements. Regular feedback and encouragement help students stay motivated and confident.
Besides Guitar, I teach music theory, songwriting, ear training, and performance techniques. Lessons are flexible and tailored to each student’s learning style, level, and interests.
My goal is to mentor students into becoming confident, creative, and self-reliant musicians who enjoy performing and creating music.
