I am passionate about maths, badminton, and playing the guitar. My dedication to my studies grew significantly during the COVID-19 pandemic, leading me to develop important habits that I wish to pass on to my students. My tutoring approach is tailored to ensure students fully grasp the content before moving on to extensive practice. If a concept isn't fully understood, I spend extra time clarifying and simplifying it. Once the student has a firm understanding, we move on to practice, as doing a wide range of questions is the best way to master maths.
Each lesson is typically 1 hour long. This duration is ideal for maintaining focus and ensuring productive learning. I can do more or less if needed.
I have 2 years of 1:1 tutoring experience, helping students prepare for their GCSE and A-Level exams. Additionally, I have 6 months of in-person tutoring experience at Mathnasium, where I worked with students of various levels to improve their maths skills.
My lessons are primarily designed for GCSE students, but I am also well-equipped to tutor A-Level and Further Maths students. This includes support for students aiming for top grades and those needing extra help to understand challenging concepts.
