About Mohammed
Hello! My name is Mohammed Shuhad, and I am a highly qualified tutor with a passion for helping students succeed. I hold a Master's degree in Engineering Science from Simon Fraser University and have extensive teaching experience in math, physics, and coding. As a teaching assistant at Simon Fraser University, I have helped students of all abilities improve their understanding of the subject. I have been recognized by the board of education for outstanding teaching performance. I have also worked as a software developer, which enables me to provide relatable real-life examples to the students.
In addition to my formal teaching experience, I have also had the opportunity to teach math and physics to my own siblings when they were in middle school. This experience has taught me the importance of adapting my teaching methods to the needs of younger students and has given me a deeper understanding of the specific challenges they face.
In my tutoring sessions, I focus on personalized instruction and active learning methods to help students achieve their goals. I work with each student to set specific, measurable goals, and track their progress over time. My approach is tailored to the needs of each individual student, and I am able to adapt my lessons to suit their learning styles.
I am excited to work with middle and high school students and help them achieve success in math, physics, and coding. I am confident that my qualifications, experience and personal experience of teaching my own siblings makes me the ideal choice for anyone looking for a dedicated and effective tutor. Please don't hesitate to reach out to me if you have any questions or would like to schedule a tutoring session.

As a tutor, my approach is centered around providing personalised and engaging instruction to help middle school and high school students achieve their goals. My teaching methodology is based on the following techniques:
Active Learning: I believe that students learn best by actively engaging with the material, rather than simply listening to lectures. I use a variety of interactive activities, such as group discussions and hands-on projects, to keep students actively engaged in the learning process.
Goal-oriented instruction: I work with each student to set specific, measurable goals that align with their individual needs. This helps to ensure that our tutoring sessions are focused and productive, and allows me to track each student's progress over time.
Use of real-life examples: I believe that what sets me apart as a tutor is my ability to use real-life examples to explain complex concepts. My background as a software developer and my experience in the field allows me to provide relatable and concrete examples for the middle and high school students.
A typical lesson plan includes:
A review of the previous lesson's material
Introduction of new concepts and information
Interactive activities and exercises to reinforce learning
Review and practice of key concepts
Homework assignments
Feedback and progress tracking
I believe that by using real-life examples and personalising my instruction to each student, I can help middle and high school students achieve their goals and succeed in Math, Physics, and coding.

As someone who struggled in Math, I was fortunate enough to have Mohammed as my tutor. He not only helped me to understand the material, but also instilled in me a love and appreciation for the subject. His ability to break down complex concepts and explain them in a way that was easy for me to understand was truly remarkable.
