A Typical Lesson Plan
Introduction (5-10 minutes): Begin with a brief review of previous concepts to establish continuity. I may also introduce a quick warm-up activity to get students thinking critically.
Concept Explanation (15-20 minutes): Present new material using step-by-step explanations and examples. I encourage students to participate by asking questions or attempting to solve small problems as we go.
Guided Practice (20-25 minutes): Work through practice problems together, gradually shifting responsibility to the student. I provide hints and ask guiding questions to help students build confidence.
Independent Practice (10-15 minutes): Students attempt problems on their own while I provide support as needed.
Wrap-up and Review (5-10 minutes): Summarize key points, address remaining questions, and provide guidance on additional practice or study strategies.
