About Taliyah
I am a keen mathematician that would like to pursue a career in Accounting and Finance. For a-levels I studied Maths, Economics and Law. I have been tutoring for a while I have an ardent interest in logical and analytical thinking, which is why I enjoy sharing my passion and guiding others.

I teach all the way up to GCSE level, focusing more on the students needs and wants, then from there I can structure my lessons and plan ahead. The best way to highlight areas of weakness and strong points is by taking exam papers. This allows me to build on the knowledge that they already have and push them further, as well as introducing new or advanced topics. Not only that, I focus on exam techniques and working under timed conditions in preparation for exams.
My lessons are more interactive than classroom styled to allow the student to truly be confident within what they are doing and how to approach the topic. I start with what they know already about the subject, then go onto teaching the students more and the right way to approach questions, working through examples together and different techniques and then letting them have that time on their own to answer questions and provide further assistance.
All topics are different so my teaching styles may change, however showing students various ways to get to an answer helps them to keep an open mind and expands their knowledge.
