About Maya
I am just completing a gap year in which I worked in an Accountancy firm and a Youth Theatre. I have given lessons to younger students to help them gain confidence in Mathematics or to get a head start on topics they are about to start in school. I took Maths at GCSE and A level, gaining an A* and an A respectively and I am now looking to share my expertise whilst completing a degree in Accounting and Finance at the University of Birmingham.

I initially find out the areas within Maths that a student is struggling with the most in order to pay more attention to these topics. Following gaining this information I go through the different methods best for solving maths problems and as I complete each topic/ section will ensure that the student completes a variety of exam style questions until the methodology becomes second nature.
