About Mays
I am a passionate Flute tutor with 9 years of teaching and professional experience. I enjoy helping school and college students discover their musical abilities in a positive and encouraging environment. I believe that learning music should be enjoyable, practical, and inspiring.
My lessons begin with breathing exercises, posture, finger placement, rhythm, scales, and tone development before moving to articulation, expression, and performance skills. I encourage students to learn at their own pace while building confidence through regular practice.
One of the most rewarding moments in my career is seeing students perform confidently and enjoy sharing their music with others. Besides flute, I also teach music theory, ear training, sight reading, rhythm exercises, music appreciation, beginner improvisation, and performance preparation.
My goal is to help students build strong musical foundations while developing confidence, discipline, creativity, and a lifelong love for music.

My flute lessons are designed to inspire confidence and musical excellence. I use Motivation, Communication, Integrity, and Creativity because I believe these qualities create successful learners.
Students gradually master breathing techniques, posture, finger exercises, rhythm, note reading, tone production, articulation, scales, dynamics, improvisation, musical expression, and stage confidence.
Motivation keeps students excited about learning. Communication creates an open classroom where students can ask questions freely. Integrity ensures fairness, patience, professionalism, and honest guidance throughout every lesson.
Creative activities include listening practice, rhythm games, favorite songs, duet playing, ear training, improvisation, and music appreciation. Along with flute, I teach recorder, music theory, beginner keyboard, sight reading, rhythm practice, and concert preparation.
