About Ezra
I have spent eleven accomplished years guiding more than 390 students through the fascinating world of economics. My academic background includes a doctoral degree in economics and several years of experience as a university lecturer and research economist. I have published research in international trade, labor economics, and development economics, giving me firsthand experience of how economic theory translates into policy-relevant research. I have taught in universities, economics summer schools, and private tutoring settings, working with students from secondary school through graduate level. My students have gained admission to top economics programs, won essay competitions, and entered careers in finance, consulting, government, and academia. I am known for my ability to explain complex economic models with clarity and for my enthusiasm for connecting economic theory to current events. I maintain an extensive collection of economic data, case studies, and examination resources. Outside of teaching, I consult on economic policy issues, write about current economic developments, and enjoy following financial markets. I believe that economics provides essential tools for understanding the world, and I am committed to helping every student develop those tools.

My economics teaching is accomplished and analytically rigorous designed to help students understand the fundamental forces that shape markets economies and policy decisions. I begin every course with a conceptual foundation ensuring students understand the core principles of scarcity choice and opportunity cost before moving to more complex models. For microeconomics I teach the behavior of consumers and firms market structures and the efficiency properties of competitive markets through graphical analysis mathematical models and real-world case studies. Macroeconomics is taught through the study of national income determination monetary and fiscal policy and international trade with emphasis on current economic events and policy debates. Econometric analysis is introduced for advanced students teaching them to formulate hypotheses collect data and interpret statistical results using software tools. I emphasize the development of economic intuition teaching students to think like economists by identifying incentives trade-offs and unintended consequences. Every lesson includes the analysis of real economic data current events and policy debates. For examination preparation I teach systematic frameworks for answering essay questions analyzing data and evaluating economic policies. I also guide students in developing independent research projects and preparation for economics competitions.
