About Celia
My tutoring experiences and adaptive skills can align with your pertinent mathematical needs from passing algebra class to fulfilling math requirements for non-traditional university students to wherever you are at in life. At UW-Stevens Point's Tutor Learning Center, I learned how to adapt to many different learning styles and courses by tutoring pre-algebra, algebra, pre-calculus, and natural resources, for middle school, high school and university students. When privately tutoring high school students in person and online, I scheduled appointments and created plans for success with families, and helped learners find patterns, get back on track, have fun with math, and make things finally click.

I believe empowering neurodiverse learners of all ages to excel in exercising math for coursework, exams, and life applications through tutoring sessions is a feasible, fulfilling, and fun endeavor for all involved. As a Soil Science graduate of UW-Stevens Point, employing adaptive techniques has been critical to my fundamental scientific coursework; advanced math and natural resource classes, acing calculus, and post-college life.
Our lessons will center around your specific goals, course materials, and assignments while incorporating more resources and developing specific strategies to consistently use together. I am very patient, and will always be more than happy to answer any of your questions, and offer several problem-solving options to best suit your needs and empower your success.
Lessons can take place online or in local libraries, cafes, and public spaces, or in your home in the greater Madison area. Happy to be flexible with meeting locations and times as well.
