About CA Sumin
I am a Chartered Accountant who spent many years at Ernst & Young auditing listed and private companies before moving to the UAE, where I now practice in VAT, Corporate Tax, and IFRS reporting. Teaching, for me, is where clarity is tested, if I can make a complex standard genuinely click for someone, I understand it better myself. I teach the way I wish I had been taught: concepts grounded in real numbers, no jargon for its own sake, and no gap left unexplained. Whether you are sitting a professional exam or handling your first live tax filing, my aim is simple — that you leave each session confident you could do it alone.

My approach: I teach through real-world application, not just theory memorization. Every concept, whether it's an IFRS standard, a VAT treatment, or a Corporate Tax computation, is taught using actual UAE compliance scenarios and case studies, the same way I approach it in professional practice. Students don't just learn the rule; they learn how to apply it under exam pressure or in a live filing situation.
Lesson length: Sessions typically run 60–90 minutes, depending on the topic and level. Exam-prep sessions (ACCA/CA) run longer with practice-question drilling; UAE VAT/CT sessions for working professionals are often shorter and more targeted.
My qualifications: I am a Chartered Accountant (ICAI) with over 6 years of post-qualification experience, including 3 years at Ernst & Young India (Big 4) in statutory audit and assurance for listed and private companies. I currently manage UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, IFRS reporting, and audit engagements at my firm in Fujairah.
