About Harsha
I'm a Finance Manager at a multi-entity freight forwarding group operating across the UAE, Qatar, and Sri Lanka, with nearly four years of experience progressing from a Management Trainee role to managing finance function-wide. I hold ACCA (Skills Level), FMVA, and FPAP certifications, along with a BBA from Symbiosis International University.
Alongside my corporate role, I also work as a freelance design partner for a fintech startup, where I help shape product decisions from a finance and user experience lens — so I bring both structured accounting knowledge and real business/product thinking into how I teach.
I'm proficient in SAP ERP, Power BI, and advanced Excel, which I incorporate into lessons where relevant so students don't just learn concepts in theory but also see how they're applied in real finance tools.
Teaching is something I enjoy because I like breaking down concepts that seemed intimidating to me early on into something clear and manageable — my goal is for students to leave each session actually understanding the "why," not just memorizing formulas.

I teach accounting and marketing fundamentals to students at school, university, and professional exam levels (including ACCA-track learners). Lessons are structured around your specific goals — whether that's passing an exam, understanding a tricky topic like double-entry bookkeeping or cost accounting, or building practical marketing skills like positioning and pricing strategy.
I draw on real industry experience as a Finance Manager, so concepts are explained with actual business examples rather than just textbook theory. Each session is tailored to your current level and pace — we go over foundational concepts first, then move into applied problem-solving and past paper practice if you're preparing for exams.
Lessons can be held in person in Dubai or online, and I'm happy to adjust based on whether you need a one-off session before an exam or ongoing regular support.
