About Kim
I have worked for many years with students who face challenges in their learning. My goal is to create a supportive and comfortable environment where students can build confidence and develop a genuine appreciation for mathematics. Meeting students where they are and recognizing their individual needs is essential. Every small success matters and can help build the confidence needed for greater achievement. I believe every student learns differently, and those differences are strengths to be recognized, valued, and fostered.

I like to meet students where they are at by finding a methodology that works best for their age and skill level. I like to align tutoring sessions with what they are learning in class to help them return to the classroom with solid skills the next day. I especially like to teach at the high school level but will also work with middle school/junior high students as well. I have spent my entire career working with students who struggle, and find ways to bolster confidence and make them feel better about learning math.
