I am personable, reliable and excited to spread my love for learning. I believe that it is important to remember that learning should be an enjoyable experience, even when it can often be associated with stress and anxiety. I am hardworking and determined, currently studying for my A-Levels; I would love to expand my learning and teaching skills with those of other ages and skills to improve my own knowledge. I enjoy getting to know the way in which a student learns most effectively, as each student is different. I prefer to use lots of engaging activities and active recall, with typical 1 hour lessons. As part of DofE, I tutored my younger siblings and am currently volunteering at a local library to read with children taking part in the Summer Reading Challenge. I would say that those aged between 9 and 13 are best suited to my style of teaching, but I can cater for primary as well as GCSE level.
