About Aarushi
With over a decade of experience in the field of science, I hold a Bachelor's in Microbiology, a Master's in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Delhi, and a PhD in Cardiovascular Research from Queen Mary University of London. I am currently an active researcher at the University of Edinburgh, which allows me to stay on the cutting edge of scientific advancements. Throughout my academic journey, I’ve gained a deep understanding of both broad and niche topics within the biological sciences. Additionally, I have had the privilege of supervising four Bachelor’s and Master’s theses during my PhD, which has given me the skills to mentor and guide students through complex research processes. I recognise that every student has unique learning needs, and I adapt my approach accordingly. Whether it's helping students grasp fundamental concepts or tackling more advanced topics, I am patient and understanding, always ensuring that the learning process is personalised and effective.

My teaching approach is designed to capture students' interest and foster a genuine enthusiasm for learning. I focus on creating a dynamic and flexible learning environment, adapting my methods to the specific needs of each student. I encourage students to explore and question concepts, helping them develop a deeper understanding through active participation. I utilise a variety of online tools to enhance learning, including interactive discussions, online quizzes, and homework support. I also assist with exam preparation, guiding students through past exam questions and helping them refine their oral presentation skills and essay structure. Additionally, I offer support with dissertation and thesis writing, as well as data analysis for research projects. To ensure steady progress, I create structured learning tasks that challenge students to think critically, analyse ideas, and engage in meaningful discussions. By developing these higher-level thinking skills, I aim to help students not only master the material but also cultivate the ability to apply their knowledge thoughtfully and analytically.
