I have a passion for education and I take a great amount of pride in the education that I provide to my students. I put a significant amount of time and research into the lessons that I plan and I make sure that every lesson or activity has deep educational value. When I am tutoring, I make a point to really get to know each student and their interests so that I can ensure my lessons are engaging and specifically tailored to that student.

I have 6 years of classroom experience in both elementary and middle school. I am a student-led teacher, which means I like to let the student take control of their learning and I take more of a facilitator approach and pose a lot of guiding questions that allow them to explore and problem solve. This approach helps students to develop reasoning, problem solving, and critical thinking skills that are invaluable in education. My lessons would best serve students in grades 2-8 in math. I do have a lot of experience in early grades reading and language arts as well.
