A typical lesson begins with a quick review of previous material, followed by focused instruction on a specific skill (such as fractions, algebra, essay structure, or text evidence). We then practice together through guided examples, and I gradually shift responsibility to the student as they improve. I end each session with a recap of key takeaways and a clear plan for what to practice before the next meeting. What sets me apart is my patience, strong communication skills, and ability to make difficult material feel manageable and less overwhelming.
