About Miguel
I am a year 13 student at Queen Elizabeth’s looking to start working to gain experience. I am a vice captain for my school and hold positions of responsibility like organising prefects and events. Currently I am doing History, Politics and Art at A-level though my proficiency in maths is still high having gotten all 9s at GCSE and all As (including maths) at AS level. Tutoring has always been something I’ve been interested in and have participated in actively at school. Getting a start working professionally before uni is important to me and i know that tutoring is the best way for me to make that start. My experience teaching younger students is one of my strongest skills as I’d also helped tutor my brother to get into QE.

Lessons will be 1 hour long and focused on doing practice questions. They are best suited for children in years 4-6 in primary school to consolidate basic maths skills. My 3 year role as a peer mentor helps me to teach and stay patient with younger students, not only providing academic knowledge but also aiding their organisation and study techniques.
