About Dilara
I am Dilara Kalugalage, a 4th year Bachelor of Chemical Engineering and Pharmaceutical Science student at Monash University. As a tutor, I enjoy having the opportunity to pass on the tips and tricks I have gained throughout my schooling experience to the next generation of learners. I also enjoy being able to play a part in making their learning experience fun, and something they can view in a positive light, rather than as being intimidating. My goal is to change a student's view of learning from being something impossible to conquer, to something they can approach with confidence. I believe that my ability to pick out the strengths and weaknesses of each student and find ways to cater to their individual needs makes me a strong tutor. My honesty in regards to their learning process would also be advantageous in tutoring.

My two years of experience in 1:1 tutoring has allowed me to develop a broad set of skills and techniques to cater for each individual student. I strongly believe in not only teaching my students content, but also teaching them how to study and learn effectively; I have a plethora of learning techniques I have been using with my students thus far that have been proven impactful. My standard lessons will be 1 hour weekly , however I cater for individual needs, hence the length and duration could be altered accordingly.
I am available for tutoring for grade 1 to year 10 students.
