About Tilly
After I finish my degree in June - I am going to be heading off to travel Australia and hopefully elsewhere too! I’m a hardworking individual and really believe practice makes perfect. I love maths and STEM subjects and really do think they are SO rewarding - even though at times they can be tough. I love being outdoors and getting fresh air - even though you’ll find me hiding out all day in a café through exam season. I play netball at uni and stay pretty active - which definitely gives me a nice break from all the studying too!

Hi! I’m Tilly - a 4th year Mathematics student in Edinburgh. I absolutely love my degree - but completely understand how challenging maths can be at times. I love helping others understand topics and get past challenges which can be a struggle at first. I’m also open to tutoring Biology, Physics and Chemistry (up to SQA Higher level or equivalent). I find it best to learn by rigorous examples which make the methods clear and easy to understand. Talking through questions and walking through each step has been super helpful for me! I’m adaptable - so whatever works best for you. I’d love to help you get past things which may feel intimidating and tough to begin with - you can do this! :)
