About Keira
My name is Keira, and I’m a 4th‑year Biochemistry student at the University of Exeter. I’ve always loved science, and I’m passionate about helping students understand it in a way that feels clear, manageable, and even enjoyable. I want to teach because I genuinely enjoy supporting young people as they grow in confidence, there’s nothing better than seeing a topic finally “click” for a student who thought they’d never get it.

My approach focuses on building understanding rather than memorising facts. I break down difficult concepts into clear, manageable steps and link them to future learning so students can see how topics connect. Lessons are usually 45 minutes to 1 hour, depending on the student's preference. I have 9s in Biology, Chemistry, Maths GCSE and A*, A, A in Biology, Chemistry and Maths A-Level. I have experience in assisting students in the classroom and have tutored primary school children. These lessons are for GCSE students (14-16) and A-Level students (16-18).
