I am a student mentor, which involves me supporting first year students in assignments.

I will tailor lessons to suit your topic needs and learning styles by having a preliminary conversation and frequent lesson reflections to better adapt for you.
I achieved A*'s in all sciences and maths at GCSE and A*'s at A level in these too. I was a STEM ambassador at A level which involved me teaching other students. In my degree, I have completed a module on teaching and learning styles, which allowed me to learn how best to deliver lessons. Furthermore, I delivered lessons to a small group and reflected upon this.
My lessons will have clear learning objectives, with content delivered in creative ways to aid understanding. I will frequently check this knowledge through questions to ensure clarity before moving on.
Lessons will typically last 30 mins - 1 hour, however, this can be adapted based on your needs.
My lessons are for anyone at school age, ranging from reception - A level. My strengths are in sciences and maths.
