About Laura
I have worked with children extensively as an Education Assistant both here in Perth and overseas so I am able to help students in a calm manner. In my experience as a pre-service teacher I am able to structure sessions for children of all learning abilities with activities tailored to their learning goals and needs. I can identify gaps within a child's learning and develop methods to help a child clarify their understanding.

I am 3 years into a Primary Education degree at Curtin University, in this time I have studied all the maths concepts that children cover from Year 1 to Year 6. Typical lessons will be 45 minutes and can involve helping with homework, practising for tests or I am able to structure a session for a particularly tricky area in fun and engaging ways.
