About Ayo
My name is Ayo I am a 3rd-year medical student at the University of Birmingham. I studied at a grammar school for my sixth form but also studied at a state school for GCSE. Having experienced both state and grammar school during my education means that I am aware of the standards and the requirements students need in order to achieve highly. I achieved 3A s at a level and achieved 8/9's at GCSE. I would say I am qualified in tutoring at all levels and my previous student would also agree.
For those students that would like to get into medical school, I could also share my experiences and provide you with tools for success in the grueling application process to medical school.

To get the best out of all my students I like to follow clear action sequences which make me aware of students' current goals and also their future aspirations of knowledge.
1. I try to Understand the Student's Needs by assessing your student's current knowledge, strengths, weaknesses, and learning style.
2. I then Set Clear Goals by Establishing clear learning objectives for each session.
3. I always Create a Structured Plan that outlines what will cover in each session.
4. I then Choose Appropriate Resources such as textbooks which I personally used during my studies; therefore, I know the resource well and the best approach to convey the information to my student.
5. where nessesary, i Use Interactive Tools such as directing my student to helpful YouTube videos.
6. I usually also Engage with Visuals such as diagrams, and animations to explain complex concepts.
7. I always encourage Active Participation by asking questions, encouraging discussions, and assigning interactive activities.
8. I Provide Constructive Feedback on assignments, quizzes, and discussions.
9. i like to maintain clear and open communication with my student by addressing their concerns, answering questions, and making sure they feel comfortable seeking help when needed.
10. I make sure to Set Realistic Expectations: for each of my student's progress.
At the end of each session, I always make sure to summarise the key points covered.
